At Oaklands Arboretum we grow a wide range of native and ornamental trees in extra large containers in order that our trees develop a bigger natural root ball in a loam- based compost that will ensure quicker and more reliable development when the tree is planted out, thus reducing failures and replanting costs.
This means no more inadequate, root bound, root balls in dried out soil-less composts that restrict root development when planted out into natural soil.
GOSTD brand loam-based organic tree planting compost is designed to give our trees the best possible start whether planted in sandy or clay soil. The environmentally educated will not need to contemplate the advantages of GOSTD brand loam-based, peat-free, Organically Enriched Loam. |
